About Julia

I was born and lived in rural Lincolnshire but have lived in Leicestershire for the past 45 years. I have been painting since an early age and the pleasure and passion for it is still as strong as ever. I also run adult education classes in drawing and painting, I find teaching and passing on my knowledge to students very rewarding, I always like to encourage my students to try different things which I find in turn also helps me as an artist, I learn as much from them as they do from me.

I enjoy all mediums but recently have been working on a series of garden/ meadow paintings in mixed media which I am pleased to be able to offer for sale as prints.
